Community Caring & Older Peoples Pastor

Do you enjoy building caring communities and have a genuine love and compassion for the older generation?

Enjoy being a full time member of our Ministry team at St Matthew’s Baulkham Hills leading our community caring, which includes significant pastoral ministry for people over 70.

Experience in providing and developing networks of carers and of working with seniors and volunteers is essential.

The successful applicant must be prepared to work within the polity and ethos of the Uniting Church in Australia, as described in the Basis of Union.

This role falls within the scope of the lay specified ministry of Pastor and any offer of employment for this role will be conditional upon the successful applicant being able to satisfactorily demonstrate the core competencies determined by the Ministerial Education Commission as essential for all person that exercise the lay specified ministry of Pastor

Under the Commission for Children and Young People Act 1998 it is illegal for prohibited persons to apply and a ‘Working with Children Check” will be required’.
